Tees Regatta

Saturday 16 may 9am - 6pm

regatta

Tees Regatta is over 90 years old and attracts crews from rowing clubs from across the North East region and beyond. The event is organised by Tees Rowing Club and is hosted from the River Tees Watersports Centre, North Shore Road, Stockton. It is raced over a four lane, 850m course from Tees Barrage to the Centre under the new Infinity Bridge. Racing will start at 9am with races every 3 minutes until 6pm.

Events cover Rowing and Sculling with boats sizes of 1, 2, 4 or 8 persons. Racing is open to all age groups and abilities. The event makes a great day out and members of the public are welcome to come along and watch.

It is recommended that spectators park either at the Tees Barrage, or across the The Princess of Wales Bridge in Teesdale. Racing can be viewed all along the course or from the Infinity Bridge and access to the River Tees Watersports Centre is possible on foot from either direction; it is also within walking distance of Stockton High Street.

Look out for some of the Infinity Spring Festival entertainment along the Regatta route.
